WHAT WE DO
Saint Vincent de Paul Charity Cambodia responds to urgent human needs while accompanying individuals and families toward stability and dignity. Our work combines immediate assistance with ongoing support, ensuring that help is not only given in moments of crisis, but sustained as people rebuild their lives.
Through practical aid, referrals, and close accompaniment, we serve the poor, displaced, and vulnerable across Cambodia with compassion, accountability, and hope.
Medical & Health Assistance
We support access to medical care by covering essential medicines, clinic visits, hospital treatment, and emergency surgeries for those who cannot afford healthcare. This includes assistance for both acute and chronic conditions such as malaria, dengue fever, HIV-related care, tuberculosis, cancer treatment, pregnancy-related complications, injuries, and other serious or life-threatening illnesses.
Food & Basic Needs
We provide food parcels, daily meals, and essential items to individuals and families facing hunger, poverty, or sudden crisis. Our support prioritizes dignity and ensures that immediate needs are met during difficult moments.
Protection & Safeguarding
We offer discreet support and protection for victims of human trafficking, religious persecution, and those at risk of harm; always prioritizing confidentiality and safety.
Housing & Shelter Support
We assist with safe and dignified housing through temporary accommodation and room-rental support for individuals and families who are homeless, displaced, or at risk of losing shelter.
Education & Scholarships
We help children and young adults remain in school through educational assistance and scholarships, creating pathways toward long-term stability, opportunity, and self-reliance.
Detention & Migration Support
We provide ongoing assistance to individuals in detention or facing migration challenges through food, toiletries, referrals, and accompaniment during complex and stressful processes.
Emergency & Crisis Assistance
We respond quickly to urgent situations such as displacement, detention, illness, or sudden loss of income, providing timely support when help is most critically needed.
Empowerment & Self-Sufficiency
Beyond emergency aid, we support initiatives that help individuals rebuild their lives, including skills support, work-related assistance, and follow-up accompaniment to encourage independence and stability.
Companionship & Accompaniment
At the heart of our work is presence. We walk alongside those we serve, offering guidance, encouragement, and human connection so that no one feels abandoned or alone.
